This natural affinity for organisation and aesthetic flair, with a good helping of empathy, led Mandy to her natural environment; she worked her way up from Cabin Crew to the much-coveted role of Purser at British Airways. Here she honed her skills of managing a team involved in a very complex service situation, but at the same time held a position of immense responsibility. The safety of hundreds of passengers ultimately sat with Mandy. (Not to mention being able to pour champagne without spilling a drop!) Which brings us to trust. We need to trust whomever we let into our homes, especially when they’re delving into our personal and intimate space, and that is a concern you can safely put to one side.

Mandy’s ability to make any environment shine is an innate part of her character. After BA, she ran her own events company providing private dining - Mandy trained at Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saison under the guidance of Raymond Blanc - and floristry (yes, Mandy is also a qualified florist). And we mustn’t forget the cheese! Mandy also has a Diploma in cheese from the Guild of Fine Foods. She subsequently attained the Cotswold Life award of “Best Independent Retailer” for a Cotswold delicatessen, and was asked to join the celebrated Daylesford Organic Farm Shop, also in the Cotswolds. 

If you feel out of your depth, whether it’s a chaotic cupboard, daunting dinner or a clothing crisis, Mandy could be your “Fairy Godmother” too. And while she can’t quite literally fly - she’s not confined to the Cotswolds, whether you’re in London, Home Counties or the Midlands, Mandy can come to your rescue…
